The marine corrosion and environment protection research team was established by Prof. Guang-zhou Liu. The research area includes: 1) the corrosion mechanisms of marine engineering equipment and the anti-corrosion technology; 2) development of new treatment technologies for ship ballast water, marine domestic sewage, and ship exhaust gas; 3) the geochemical environmental behaviors of emerging marine organic pollutants, and the fate and transport of engineered micro-/nanoparticles.
