Abstract:

Chao Jia, professor of Shandong University, doctoral supervisor, director of Marine Geology and Engineering Research Institute. In the recent years, mainly engaged in teaching and research work in marine geology, marine engineering, geological engineering, geotechnical engineering and hydraulic engineering. In related fields, Professor Jia has finished more than 40 research projects, published about 120 articles, including more than 50 SCI/EI articles, published 2 book, obtained more than 10 invention patents and 6 provincial awards. A total of more than 60 postgraduates, doctoral students and master's degree students have been trained in Professor Jia’s research group. Professor Jia is a member of China Civil Engineering Society and a member of Environmental Geotechnical Engineering Society of rock mechanics and Engineering Society of China. He is also an evaluation expert of national key research and development project, the evaluation expert of National Natural Science Foundation project, the experts of national study fund project and other provincial and ministerial projects and awards. He is the reviewer of more than 20 periodicals at home and abroad. Professor Jia has undertaken more than 60 technical consulting activities of various public welfare and enterprise projects. He is good at multidisciplinary intersecting, macro and micro combination methods in the field of engineering and technology. Taking geology as the foundation, mechanics as the means, engineering as the background, and ecology as the guide, obtained a number of display research results.
